Scholarship Description:
The Liang lab in the Chemistry Department at Case Western Research University (CWRU) is seeking two highly motivated postdoctoral fellows who share the interests and have research experiences in epigenetic research. These positions will focus on developing inducible CIRSPR-based technologies to enable the multiplex editing of epigenetic modifications on chromatin or RNAs, and applying these tools to investigate epigenetic memory and mitigate pathological conditions.

Eligibility criteria:
Successful candidates will have a PhD (and/or MD) with extensive experience in related epigenetics or RNA fields and a solid publication record demonstrating independence. Also desirable are skills in basic molecular biology and biochemistry techniques (e.g., cloning), ChIP/CLIP-qPCR analysis, cell culture, lentiviral production/transduction, producing stable cell line, CRISPR-based genome editing/modifying.
