Scholarship Description:
Dr. Yuede Ji is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas. Dr. Yuede Ji graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Computer Engineering. His main research interests include computer security (program analysis, vulnerability detection, malware and network attacks) and high performance computing (designing parallel, distributed and GPU systems to accelerate graph neural networks and graph algorithms). His research has been presented at high level conferences in security and high performance research, including USENIX Security, SC, HPDC, EuroS&P, RAID, AsiaCCS and others. He was awarded the Best Paper Award at NPC 2014.
Yuede Ji has collaborated extensively. In academia, he has worked with labs at Virginia Tech, Stevens Institute of Technology, Illinois Institute of Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In industry, he spent 7 months as a research intern at Kryptowire, a company dedicated to program analysis and mobile phone security (which Google had offered to acquire). There will be more extensive and in-depth collaborations in the future.
