Scholarship Description:
The University of Oklahoma (OU) is the number one university in Oklahoma in terms of overall ranking, research funding, and many other rankings. The Carnegie Foundation has ranked OU as a R1: Doctoral Universities – Highest Research Activity university. The lab is located on the Tulsa campus, which is part of OU’s main campus. The OU College of Computing has recently grown and is well funded, with significant investments in cybersecurity, high performance computing, data science, and interdisciplinary disciplines related to medicine, and plans to expand its research on the Tulsa campus over the next few years. Tulsa is the second largest city in Oklahoma. The city is located along the Arkansas River and is home to many oil-related industries, making it the “Oil Capital of the World. Tulsa has a low cost of living, a slow pace of life, and is home to many historic buildings, museums, and art galleries. There are many Chinese supermarkets and restaurants in Tulsa, making life more convenient.
Available Subjects:
- Research interests include but are not limited to network security, Internet of Things, machine learning, and wireless communication related fields
Eligibility criteria:
- We hope to recruit students with backgrounds related to these fields, or with a background in science and technology with some programming or mathematical modeling.
