Scholarship Description:
The Lek lab is located in the Department of Genetics at Yale University. Our lab studies all aspects associated with rare disease genetics: (1) Novel gene discovery in large cohorts (2) Methods development in the analysis of genomic data (3) Studying genetic disease mechanisms (4) Design and translation of genetic therapies. We are a young and growing lab seeking candidates that are self-motivated, independent, fast learning with a team first attitude.
Available Subjects:
- Genetics, muscle biology or related discipline.
Eligibility criteria:
- Extensive experience in molecular biology and cell culture techniques is essential. Animal handling experience is high desired.
- Postgraduate associate: Bachelors degree in genetics, molecular biology or similar discipline.
