Scholarship Description:

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is a leading cancer center focused on exceptional patient care, innovative research, and high-quality education. Integrating research with patient care is central to our mission. MSK aims to treat and control cancer, advance biomedical knowledge through research, and train scientists, physicians, and healthcare professionals.

We seek a motivated postdoctoral research scholar to develop novel statistical and machine learning methods for addressing research questions based on MSK’s large-scale longitudinal microbiome datasets. Key areas include predictive modeling, feature selection, synthetic data generation, data harmonization, and multi-modal data integration.

This position offers an opportunity to tackle impactful research questions using data-driven approaches. The successful candidate will join a dynamic microbiome research team of biostatisticians, computational biologists, physician-scientists, and wet-lab scientists, collaborating on large-scale cancer microbiome studies. The research scholar will be co-mentored by Drs. Teng Fei and Li-Xuan Qin for an initial two-year period, with the possibility of a third year extension.
