dr. wen’s group research interests focus on data analysis, machine learning and statistical modeling for quality improvement, prognostics in complex systems with applications in manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare. the ideal candidate will have strong data analysis and writing skills, the ability to work collaboratively and independently, and a solid record of publication.

Eligibility criteria:
A doctoral or equivalent degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or related fields is required before the start date of the appointment. the applicant must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong programming skills. knowledge in statistical data analysis for manufacturing quality control, process monitoring, diagnostics and prognostics, or research experience in the analysis of medical data are strongly encouraged to apply.
The postdoctoral researcher will conduct independent research and/or collaborate on multiple research projects; provide guidance and support to undergraduate/graduate students associated with the related projects; document research activities and publish key findings in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals.
