Scholarship Description:

Dr. Feng Siyuan is an assistant professor and PhD supervisor in the Department of Aviation and Transportation Engineering at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He earned his PhD in Transportation Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (under Professor Yang Hai), a Master’s in Systems Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an undergraduate degree from Tongji University.

Dr. Feng has conducted research, study, and teaching at California Partners for Advanced Transit and Highways (PATH), JD Smart City Research Institute, and the Logistics and Maritime Studies Department at PolyU.

He has received significant research funding, including from the Hong Kong Research Grants Council and the Didi Gaia Scholar Research Fund. Dr. Feng has published over ten SCI/SSCI papers in prestigious journals such as Transportation Research Part C/E and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems. He has been a finalist for the Young Scientist Award from the Hong Kong Science Association, received an honorary nomination for the HKSTS Outstanding PhD Thesis Award, and has earned various scholarships from the Hong Kong government. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for top transportation journals. Dr. Feng is dedicated to student mentorship and is passionate about exploring cutting-edge topics in aviation and transportation science.
