Scholarship Description:
Laboratory of AI and Biomedical Science (LABS) will be created in January 2023 at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). The lab will be affiliated with the Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute (https://www.ini.usc.edu/), which has been performing frontier research in brain imaging and neuroscience for decades. Dr. Junhao Wen (https://www.junhaowen.com/) will start his independent research program as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at USC and look forward to working with the next generation of brilliant scientists.
Available Subjects:
- Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathmatics, Neuroscience, or Statistics;
Eligibility criteria:
- Candidate should have a working knowledge of programming, including Linux, Python, and R;
- Candidate having background knowledge in neuroimaging, machine learning, and/or genomics/genetics is encouraged;
- Excellent communication and writing skills are required.
