Scholarship Description:
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tennessee Technological University (USA) is looking for two PhD students in Peng Zhang’s lab. The main research interests include the study of fluid-solid coupling phenomena, the preparation and theoretical analysis of multifunctional materials, and computational fluid dynamics. The entry period is autumn 2023. Accepted PhD students will be supported by a full scholarship and the package includes tuition fee waiver and a monthly salary.

Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants need to have a solid research base and a strong interest in research. Applicants should have obtained an undergraduate degree in an engineering or natural science discipline (or no later than the date of entry). Applicants should have a good command of spoken and written English, a hard-working attitude, the ability to learn and work independently, and the ability to work well with other team members.
