Scholarship Description:

Dr. Qian Li holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Missouri and completed postdoctoral training in statistical genomics and bioinformatics at Moffitt Cancer Center. Previously, she was a research assistant professor at the Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida, before joining the Biostatistics department at St. Jude as an Assistant Member (Assistant Professor).

Her research centers on statistical and machine learning analyses of multi-omics data in pediatric cancers, including transcriptomics, proteomics, and epigenomics. Dr. Li has authored over ten publications as first or senior/corresponding author in journals such as Bioinformatics, Genome Biology, Genome Medicine, and the Journal of NCI. Her recent methodological work includes algorithms for cell type deconvolution, high-resolution purification, and the integration of single-cell multi-omics data.
