Scholarship Description:

The Wu laboratory is interested in understanding the fundamental mechanism of innate immunity and its impact on adaptive immunity, inflammation and cancer. Dr Wu’s laboratory is currently using diverse approaches and mouse disease models to uncover the novel immunostimulatory or immunosuppressive mechanisms of the cGAS-STING pathway in antitumour immunity and autoimmunity. The overall goal of the Wu lab is to harness innate immunity to develop novel immunotherapies for cancer and inflammatory diseases.
