The University of Kentucky’s Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology, led by Dr. Ka-Wing “Will” Fong, is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher focused on transcriptional regulation, epigenetics, and metabolic regulation in prostate cancer.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to engage in prostate cancer-related research using advanced techniques, including CUT&RUN, CUT&TAG, ATAC-seq, Stable Isotope Resolved Metabolomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics. Applicants should have a background and experience in tumor biology, molecular biology, or related fields.
Available Subjects:
- Reveal the molecular basis by which TRIM28 promotes the progression of castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) through epigenetic mechanisms.
- Elucidate the roles of other epigenetic regulators in CRPC and neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC).
- Analyze the functions of various post-translational modifications (such as ubiquitination and lactylation) in the progression of prostate cancer.
