Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, and Chemistry from Duke University
  • Three years of experience in the battery industry at LG Chem
  • Master’s and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University, under Professor Yi Cui
  • Postdoctoral researcher in the group of Nobel laureate and former U.S. Secretary of Energy, Professor Steven Chu
