The Dai group has pioneered Nano-optics and light-matter interaction with first- and corresponding-author publications in Science, Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, etc. Prospective students are expected to work in nano-optics, intelligent nanophotonics, emerging materials, and biophotonics.
The Ph.D. program in Materials Engineering at Auburn is interdisciplinary for students with backgrounds related to physics, chemistry, materials, and applied science & engineering.
