Scholarship Description:
Mingyi Xie’s group focuses on microRNA biogenesis and degradation, integrator complex-mediated RNA processing in cancer and neurological disease models, and other small non-coding RNA functions, m6A modification.
The team has two research assistants, one postdoctoral fellow, three PhD students and six undergraduate students. The lab is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIGMS R35; NCI R01), the American Cancer Society (Research Scholar), and the Florida Department of Health.
We are now recruiting postdoctoral fellows with backgrounds in bioinformatics, molecular biology and/or cancer biology to conduct in-depth research on non-coding RNA. Recent PhD graduates with an interest in RNA research are encouraged to apply.
