Scholarship Description:
The Zhang Zhao Laboratory (ZZ-Lab, https://thezzlab.com) is located in the Department of Pharmacology and Tumor Biology at Duke University School of Medicine (https://pharmacology.duke.edu). The laboratory is located in the scenic Golden Triangle of research in North Carolina, USA.
Our laboratory has a long-standing commitment to the development of team members. In our team, we respect each member’s interests and long-term career needs and encourage open-minded learning and collaboration. Thanks to the excellent research environment and the efforts of each member, all the previous postdocs in our team are now independent professors.
Available Subjects:
- Molecular biology, or biochemistry, or genetics, or immunology, or bioinformatics
Eligibility criteria:
- (1) Transposon regulation and function under physiological and pathological conditions (mainly using Drosophila and mouse as models).
- (2) The mechanism and role of circular DNA (ecDNA) production under physiological and pathological conditions (mainly Drosophila and tumour resistance as models).
