Scholarship Description:
Our lab has been focused on studying RORgt-dependent Th17 immunity, referring to (Nature Immunology, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28846085; Nature Communications: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30451821; PNAS, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29282318; Journal of Immunology, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30567733).
Our research supported by both industrial and NIH grants are closely related to the development of drugs for treatment of autoimmunity. The recent postdoctoral fellows from this lab were recruited by pharmaceuticals and academics as faculty. Experimental approaches require the candidate to be familiar with basic immunology knowledge as well as techniques for cell culture and mouse handling. Candidate shall have publication records to demonstrate the knowledge in related field. This laboratory is located at Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope, a NIH-designated comprehensive cancer center with state-of-the-art facilities and friendly environments. Our institute locates at great Los Angeles of sunshine California, where you enjoy the diversity of culture and life style in warm southern California.
