Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) offers a postdoctoral position in computational biology.

Scholarship:  Fully funded
Degree:  PhD
Nationality: International Students
Location: USA
Application deadlines: Open

Scholarship Description:

The position is funded by an NIH R35 grant. Research in the group involves the use of multi-omics data, mathematical models, and machine learning to generate useful biological information and concepts that current theories cannot provide. Two major directions: 1) Reverse engineering gene regulation using deep learning models; 2) Cancer drug/treatment response prediction using deep learning models. All of these projects are in close collaboration with experimentalists. The group aims to bridge the fields of machine learning and biological sciences. Some of our recent work includes ICLR 2023 (above); NeurIPs 2021; Cell system 2019; NAR 2019; Nature Communications 2018.
