Scholarship Description:

 Available Subjects:

  • Environmental Sciences/Engineering, Chemistry, Geochemistry, Biology/Biochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related areas.

Eligibility criteria:

  • CO2 mineralization in geologic formation to reduce climate change
  • (Bio)geochemical alteration of reservoir rocks and infrastructure during underground H2 storage
  • Fate/transport of contaminants in wastewater treatment through mineral reactions
  • Nanoscale mineral dissolution and precipitation in environmental and energy systems
