Scholarship Description:
Dr Qianqian Ni is an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yang Luling Medical College. He graduated from the 8-year medical school of Nanjing University, conducted research in the direction of nucleic acid nanomedicine in the group of Professor Xiaoyuan Chen at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) from 2016-2020, and joined the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the National University of Singapore Yang Luling Medical College in 2021.
Dr Qianqian Ni has been working on nucleic acid drug delivery and its use in tumour immunotherapy for many years. During her studies and work at Nanjing University, National Institutes of Health and National University of Singapore, she has achieved a series of successive, in-depth, highly original and translatable results in the fields of nucleic acid delivery system construction, nucleic acid drug design and tumour vaccine research and development, and has been published as first or corresponding author in Sci. Adv, Adv. Mater. Soc. Rev., Adv. Drug Deliv. Rev., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Nano, Radiology, etc., and has received nearly S$2,000,000 in project grants for his current work.
Available Subjects:
- 1) nucleic acid drug development for tumour immunotherapy and gene editing, and
- 2) lipid nanoparticle technology development for mRNA drug delivery.
Eligibility criteria:
- have a PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, chemistry, materials science or other related fields
- have published SCI papers as first author;
- have independent scientific research ability and team spirit, good English reading and writing skills.
- have experience in molecular cloning, tumour immunity, gene editing and other related scientific research is preferred.
