Scholarship Description:
The Post-doctoral fellow is expected to work with a voung and energetic group comprising of 2 Post-doctoral fellows,5 PhD students, 1 Research assistant and Undergraduate students.
The lab typically uses bioengineering modelssuch as on-chip or photolithographic techniques, which is not a requirement for this position; we will train the prospective fellow to use such models. However, the applicant would be expected to blend those cutting-edge models with the molecular biology techniques to study the disease pathology.

The candidate is also expected to adhere to laboratory standards and practices to maximize safety and operational effectiveness;train lab members on the operation of research equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions when needed; comply with all State and University policies; and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s objectives, policies and applicable laws. Other duties may be assigned.
