The Loh Laboratory at Yale University School of Medicine (New Haven CT, USA) is actively seeking creative, enthusiastic and collaborative scientists to join our team.

Scholarship: Fully funded
Degree: Ph.D
Nationality: International Students
Location: USA
Application deadlines: Open

Scholarship Description:

The Loh lab is interested in brain-body interactions at the molecular length scale. Our lab uses chemical biology tools to discover and study communication between organs and the peripheral nervous system, with a particular focus on organs that regulate metabolism. Our group uses techniques such as imaging of dissected intact organs using light sheet microscopy, molecular profiling technologies such as proximity labelling based proteomics and RNA sequencing to address questions in physiology. Several postdoctoral positions are available and we are actively seeking candidates with expertise in neuroscience, pancreatic and gastrointestinal biology, or chemical biologists with a strong interest in developing new methods to study organismal metabolism. We are a well-funded, young laboratory that aims to provide a highly supportive and exciting research environment and to foster the career development of our postdoctoral fellows.
