Scholarship Description:
The Yu lab combines bioinformatics analysis with cutting-edge genomics technologies to investigate genomic, epigenomic, and immunological regulations of cancer with a specific interest in hormonal transcription factors and chromatin modifiers. Our research focuses on delineating the molecular mechanisms underlying prostate cancer progression and developing novel therapeutic strategies for advanced diseases (Lu et al., Nature Genetics, 2022; Fong et al., Mol Cell, 2022; Park et al., Sci Adv. 2021; Song et al., J Clin Invest, 2018; Xu et al., Cell Res 2019). Further information about the lab can be found on the lab websitehttps://labs.feinberg.northwestern.edu/yu. Dr. Yu’s laboratory was recently relocated to Emory University. Highly motivated individuals with strong interests in the areas of cancer biology, genomics, epigenomics, bioinformatics, or translational cancer research are invited to apply.
