Scholarship Description:

Professor Qi Alfred Chen of the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) is currently recruiting for several PhDs in Software/AI Security with full scholarships for Fall 2022. Professor Qi Alfred Chen’s research focuses on identifying and solving novel security problems in cutting-edge technologies, with a focus on the security of intelligent software in new intelligent systems. His current main research interests include AI security for unmanned systems, AI security for intelligent transportation systems, smart home software system security, software system security for drones and robots, and mobile phone system security.

Available Subjects:

Software/AI Security.

Eligibility criteria:Any student with a strong background in software/AI/systems/networking research ,especially practical and inverse analysis skills is suitable to apply. Applicants with a security background, experience in machine learning attack and defence, static/dynamic program analysis or sensor security will be preferred.
