Scholarship Description:
Multiple postdoctoral fellow positions are immediately available in Dr. Zhenyu Zhong’s lab at the Department of Immunology, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (https://www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/zhong-zhenyu/). By taking advantage of modern biomedical technologies and human disease-relevant animal models, the Zhong lab focuses on uncovering novel fundamental mechanisms by which inflammation is initiated, propagated and terminated when no longer needed. Moreover, the lab is also interested in understanding how dysregulation of inflammation promotes the development metabolic, malignant and neurodegenerative diseases.

Eligibility criteria:
- Potential candidates with strong research motivation should have a Ph.D. or M.D/Ph.D degree in a related biomedical field.
