  1. Position Summary: Postdoctoral position in functional biomaterials and clinical translation

Applications are being accepted for a postdoctoral fellowship in the Putnam Lab at Cornell University. The position is a joint effort between the Menig School of Biomedical Engineering and the Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The successful applicant will lead and support research projects focused on the design and synthesis of functional biomaterials. Seeking talented individuals to assist with research and project management in the Thies Soil Ecology Lab. Disease Ecology/Microbiome Postdoctoral Fellow! Come join an incredibly collaborative team with the ability to do experimental host-pathogen work with culturable marine pathogens to study disease transmission. Take a full-time position in an NSF Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Diseases (EEID) funded project focused on understanding the control of eelgrass wilt. the EEID project includes experimental lab, field and modeling components and 4 different postdoctoral positions. This postdoctoral position will focus on testing the role of the eelgrass microbiome in disease resistance and disease transmission control and will be based in the Friday Harbor lab for all or part of one year.
