Scholarship Description:

After graduating from Beijing Normal University in 2014, Tengfei Li joined Prof. Curtis Berlinguette’s group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of British Columbia (Canada) and received his PhD in 2018. He then joined Prof. Erwin Reisner’s group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge (UK) in 2019, and has been awarded the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship in Canada. He has been awarded the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship in Canada and has received funding support. Dr. Tengfei Li has published more than 10 papers as first/corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Nat. Commun.

Available Subjects:

Electrocatalytic CO2 reduction, organic electrosynthesis, photocatalytic plastic degradation, water decomposition, etc.

Eligibility criteria:

PhD students normally require a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, basic research skills such as laboratory work and academic writing, the ability to communicate in English on a daily basis, and an IELTS score of 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in a single category), as set out on the Manchester Metropolitan University admissions website.
