The Department of Population Health at NYU School of Medicine was established in 2012 and consists of the core areas of biostatistics, epidemiology, health behaviour change, comparative effectiveness and decision science, behavioural economics and health policy, and medical ethics.
The postdoctoral fellow will work closely with Dr Jiyuan Hu, Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the NYU Biostatistics Resource, to develop statistical, machine learning, and AI approaches to advance the analysis of high-dimensional metagenome/microbiome, DNA-seq, and RNA-seq data from large-scale population studies. The candidate will also work with several research collaborators across the Medical School.
All postdoctoral fellows at NYU School of Medicine are eligible for postdoctoral housing at a reduced rate and health insurance. Health insurance is also available for eligible dependents. https://med.nyu.edu/research/postdoctoral-training/resources-postdoctoral-fellows/benefits
