Scholarship Description:

Dr. Huiliang Wang obtained his undergraduate degree in Materials Science from the University of Oxford and Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering with Zhenan Bao at Stanford University. After his Ph.D. studies, he did his postdoctoral work with Professor Karl Deisseroth at Stanford Bioengineering. Dr. Wang has published ~30 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Science, PNAS, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano letters, and ACS Nano, with a citation of more than 6000 and H Index of 25. Dr. Wang has received several awards and fellowships including the Materials Research Society (MRS) Gold Graduate Student Award, NIH F32 NRSA Postdoctoral Fellowship and NIH K01 Mentored Research Scientist Development Award.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidate with previous research experiences in the electronics field (e.g. organic/polymer electronics, piezo-electronics, bioelectronics, neurotechnology, wearable electronics) will be most desirable.
