Scholarship Description:
The lab’s work spans computer architecture, graphics, human and machine perception, optics, and image sensing. Students with interests in any of these topics are invited to apply. Students with keen interests in humanities (e.g., painting, archaeology, and cultural heritage) are especially welcome. Students will have the freedom to choose research topics of their own interests.
Available Subjects:
- Applications, algorithms, and computer systems and architecture for visual computing domains such as Augmented/Virtual Reality, robotics, and self-driving cars.
Eligibility criteria:
Ideal candidates should have solid programming skills and mathematical foundations (e.g., linear algebra, calculus, signal processing, or optimizations). Background in computer graphics, computer architecture, or compiler is highly desirable.
