Scholarship Description:

Dr. Huiliang Wang obtained his undergraduate degree in Materials Science from the University of Oxford and Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering withZhenan Bao at Stanford University. After his Ph.D. studies, he did his postdoctoral work with Professor Karl Deisseroth at Stanford Bioengineering. Dr. Wang has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Science, PNAS, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano letters, and ACS Nano, with a citation of more than 8000 and H Index of 27. Dr. Wang has received several awards and fellowships including the Materials Research Society (MRS) Gold Graduate Student Award, NIH F32 NRSA Postdoctoral Fellowship, NIH K01 Mentored Research Scientist Development Award and MIT Technology Review 35 under 35 (China).
